Old Time Relijun is a band based in Portland, Oregon and longtime member of K Records. Current members are Germaine Bacca on drums, Aaron Hartman on upright bass, and Arrington de Dionyso on electric guitar, vocals and bass clarinet. The reviews of the band are radically mixed among critics, with Pitchfork Media giving both a horribly scathing[1] review along with one praising the band of brilliance[2]. Old Time Relijun first began recording under a home-made audio cassette label, Pine Cone Alley and were later adopted by indie giant K Records. The name of the band is taken from a Captain Beefheart song on his critically acclaimed Trout Mask Replica album.
