Olympiacos is amongst the most successful Greek and European teams as they have won numerous titles in Greek and European competitions. In the Greek League Olympiacos along with their eternal enemy of Piraeus, Ethnikos, share the majority of the titles of Champion but Olympiacos is the only Greek team to have won the Euroleague and the European Super Cup, in 2002 when they won Honvéd in Budapest and Vasas respectively. They have also participated in 3 more finals, one in the Euroleague and two in the Cup Winners' Cup. It is the only club in Water Polo history that has won a national championship, a national cup, the Euroleague and a European Super Cup within a single year (in 2002). The club has also a successful women's team which belongs to the top Greek teams having won 2 championships. They have also participated in a Champions Cup and twice in a Len Trophy final four.
