On through the Night is the debut album by British hard rock band Def Leppard, released in 1980. It features re-recorded versions of "Rocks Off" and "Overture", tracks from the band's original independently released EP, the Def Leppard EP. Some tracks are rerecorded versions of early demos the band recorded, some of which appeared on the First Strike and Warchild bootlegs. The album became platinum on May 9, 1989. The band have stated on many occasions that they don't like this album and consider High 'N' Dry their first proper album. When will my baby start sleeping through the night? (4045 words)
Even when he starts sleeping through the night, which will happen eventually (I promise), you will always have your mom radar on and will be listening for a cry in the night.
Babies often have their days and nights mixed up, but they soon learn that mom is in a much better mood, and life is more interesting during the day than in the middle of the night.
Often older babies who had been sleeping long stretches at night will start waking more frequently when they begin teething, and also when they begin to deal with separation anxiety and need to be reassured that their mom is still there.
Hercules All Through the Night (8582 words)
But the long hours of futilely fighting the worsening infection and fever since the night before was eroding his simple confidence in the power of Iolaus’ will to live; it was a struggle to keep believing that everything was going to be alright.
Time seemed stalled, the night seeming to go on forever, but the sense of being helplessly caught like a fly in amber was belied by the flickering tallow candle that continued to burn down, one handspan and then another.
Raking his fingers through his hair, he hoped Iolaus couldn’t hear them, didn’t know that once more he was being denied credit for putting his life on the line to defend perfect strangers.
