Chair of the Management Board

A senior portfolio in the Government of Ontario, the Chair of Management Board is the minister responsible for overseeing consistency in operating and capital spending and responsible decisions regarding policy direction and government procurement.

Management Board Secretariat is the ministry responsible for advising the Management Board of Cabinet and carrying out its directions with respect to the government’s workforce, money, technology and real estate.

With 2300 staff, the ministry delivers shared services like payroll and accounts receivable, IT technology, human resource management and property management to the Government of Ontario.
