Order Militia Crucifera Evangelica (OMCE) is an international non-profit fraternal organisation.


The order studies such subjects as metaphysics, mysticism, gnosticism, 17th Century Rosicrucianism and Rosicrucian history.


The Knight Commander of the OMCE is Gary L. Stewart, former AMORC Imperator and now Confraternity of the Rose Cross Imperator.

While the Order has a spiritual base, the members are free to follow their own conscience in all matters, including that of their preferred faith.
The Militia follows the compatible Traditions of' the Knights Templar, espoused by the concept or chivalry: though the OMCE in this cycle does not claim to be the direct descendant of the Templars.
Today, the Order of the Militia Crucifera Evangelica embraces and perpetuates the spiritual objectives of the movement referred to simply as "the western esoteric tradition."
