About the Band Oslo is a rock band based in Oakland and Los Angeles, California. They have existed together since 2001 as a trio, with a core of Mattia Borrani, Kerry Wayne James, and Gabrial McNair. They have since added keyboardist Damon Ramirez and gone through twelve drummers, settling on original drummer Charlie Walker, who intially left the band to live in New York. They were scheduled to open a tour for Blue October in the fall of 2006 but the tour was cut short due to an injury with Blue October's frontman. They will release their second album, The Rise and Fall of Love and Hate, in 2007.
