The Evangelical People's Party of Switzerland (German: Evangelische Volkspartei der Schweiz, French: Parti Evangelique Suisse, Italian: Partito Evangelico Svizzero) is a political party from Switzerland. It is protestant Christian party which is centre left on social issues and centre right on ethical issues. On the environment it claims "The EPP is dedicated to protecting the environment out of a sense of responsibility for the Creation."


It was founded in 1919 as the People's Party.

PEV may be identified and serotypes may be differentiated by using a virus neutralisation (VN) test, complement fixation test (1, 6) or indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) test.
For serological diagnosis it is necessary to have standard strains of PEV serotypes propagated in cell cultures and hyperimmune serum monospecific for PEV types.
After establishing the cultivation of PEV virus on monolayers of porcine kidney cells (11), the virus propagated in vitro is used to prepare vaccine.
