History

PostNet International Franchise Corporation is the largest and fastest growing privately held company in the copy & print and pack & ship industries. The company was founded in October of 1992 in Henderson, Nevada by Steven Greenbaum and Brian Spindel and began franchising in July of 1993. In June of 2005, the company relocated to the lower downtown (LoDo) area of Denver, Colorado; the new location of their world headquarters support facility. PostNet is 100% owned and operated by its founders and is regarded as a leading company in the industry of franchising.


Growth

The PostNet franchise program was launched in July 1993 and has grown to more than 500 domestic and 400 international locations including Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Guam, Ireland, Panama, Puerto Rico, South Africa (230 locations) and Venezuela. More international locations are planned for the near future.


Ownership and Management

PostNet’s culture and communication channels have enabled the development of a competitive operating system led by their franchisees, employees, and customers.


President/CEO Steven J. Greenbaum and Executive Vice President Brian Spindel co-founded the company in 1992. Mr. Greenbaum has over 20 years of experience in the postal and business services industry. Mr. Spindel has over 20 years of experience in systems coordination, marketing, franchise development and training. He frequently speaks at franchise industry events and has authored articles for franchise-centered publications.


Industry Recognition

In February of 2003, President/CEO, Steven Greenbaum was honored with the International Franchise Associations's (IFA) Entrepreneur of the Year award. He was presented with the Gary Rockwell Award for Excellence in Franchise Development in 2004. Executive Vice President/COO, Brian Spindel speaks regularly at franchise-industry events, has been published in several industry publications and is widely regarded and recognized as a franchising authority. Both Mr. Greenbaum and Mr. Spindel are Certified Franchise Executives (CFE). PostNet, as a company, is committed to excellence in franchising and supporting the IFA through paticipation and industry leadership. Both Mr. Greenbaum and Mr. Spindel have chaired committees for the IFA. Mr. Greenbaum will become the association’s chairperson in 2008.


International

PostNet franchises exist in Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Guam, Ireland, Panama, Puerto Rico, South Africa (230 locations), and Venezuela. The international portion of the company has grown rapidly over the last couple of years.
