In the show, a group of single people live in a luxurious hotel resort, competing to see who can stay in the hotel the longest. Periodically, someone is removed from the show, and others are brought in to replace them. Each week couples pair off and must share a hotel room together. One person is left over, and he or she has to leave. That person is then replaced the following episode by a member of the public who competes to join the show. The format was created by Mentorn, a UK production company, which has produced various versions of the show around the world. Tom Gutteridge of Mentorn was Executive Producer. Charla Pihlstrom and Keith Cuda won the first and, so far, only season of Paradise Hotel. They quickly joined forces with the other contestants Dave Kerpen, and Tara Gerard who managed to be the four last contestants in the hotel. In the finale Charla and Keith won $250,000, but had to decide whether to split it with their partners. Keith decided to split it with Tara Gerard while Charla chose to keep the money for herself and Dave received nothing. Although not in the final four, many other guests left a memorable mark. Toni Ferrari, who has been on other shows such as Love Cruise, was infamous for her in-your-face attitude and gave us the show's most quoted line: "Yahtzee, Game on!" Zack and Amy were the love birds of Paradise Hotel. After being eliminated, Zack returned with all the other eliminated guests in a spectacular twist. Zack and Amy dated for over two years after the show ended. Paradise Hotel became a summer hit in the US, and a similar show called Forever Eden was produced the following year, but didn't get good ratings. Charla now works as a professional model in the US. Toni, Tara, and Beau have pursued careers in the entertainment industry. Dave Kerpen had a very public wedding on a baseball field in Brooklyn, NY. Forever Eden is a FOX Network reality show that shared many similaries with FOXs 2003 summer television show Paradise Hotel, including the shows producers. ...
The program is hosted by Amanda Byram. Rumors blamed high production costs for the show never coming back for a second season, but in fact Fox found it difficult to sell advertising for Paradise Hotel, which is why the rebranded Forever Eden was produced instead. Both shows were produced by Mentorn, and the executive producers were Tom Gutteridge and Arthur Smith. Season 2
Reports from The Hollywood Reporter and Reality Tv World[1] indicate that Paradise Hotel has been revived for a 2nd season after 4 years and will air on Fox Reality and MyNetworkTV in early 2008. The show will follow a similar format as before, including an exclusive location and a group of single people competing to stay in the competition as each week sees the addition of a new member and the elimination of and old one. A second edition of the show was suggested for both the summers of 2004 and 2005 but was never made. Fox Reality is a reality TV network on U.S. cable and satellite. ...
