The Revolutionary Socialist Party (Portuguese: Partido Socialista Revolucionário or PSR) was a small left-wing Party in Portugal, founded in 1978, after the merger of two trotskyist parties, the Internationalist Communist League (Portuguese: Liga Comunista Internacionalista or LCI) and the Revolutionary Party of the Workers (Portuguese: Partido Revolucionário dos Trabalhadores or PRT). The Party is now transformed in a political association, after a merger with some other left-wing parties that led to the foundation of the Leftwing Bloc (Portuguese: Bloco de Esquerda or BE).
