Parks and Gardens Pascoe Vale is known for its many parks and gardens, including Cole Reserve, Kelvin Thomson Reserve and Gavin Reserve. The Moonee Ponds Creek used to flow into a series of ponds and then into the Yarra River. However, to aid the flow of water, the Board of Works decided to concrete it. It is now the major stormwater canal in the area.
