HISTORY OF PATKAI: Patkai was born out ot the prayers of Christians in Nagaland and Manipur, and overseas. Patkai, of which the Nagaland Baptist Church Concil and Manipur Baptist Convention are major sponsors, was started in August 1974 with twenty students.The College is not a denominational institution, however.Hence the College receives financial assistance from several Christian denominational churches as well as independent churches n organizations. In the fall of 1975 Patkai was provisionally affiliated to the North Eastern Hill University, Shillong.
