Patrick Muirhead is a former newsreader and continuity announcer on BBC Radio 4. He left in September2004 to join Channel Television as the local news programme presenter but walked out after just two months. After a spell earning his living as a painter/decorator and writing humorous articles for The Times, he now owns a gentlemen's outfitters shop, "Patrick Muirhead, England", in Midhurst, West Sussex, selling top-end English clothing, gifts and grooming products. If your a Brit, you are bound to know him as an established voice of the BBC shipping forcast, a programme that has a great affection in the hearts of Radio 4 listeners.
Patrick has a gentleman’s clothing shop in Midhurst, West Sussex and Indigo supply some of his clothing (particulary Front Row and Slazenger apparel).
He was the son of Lockhart Muirhead and Anne Campbell; the grandson of the Reverend PatrickMuirhead and Elizabeth, daughter of the Reverend John Muirhead and Janet Bogle.
James PatrickMuirhead was educated at Glasgow University and Balliol College, Oxford, M.A. He married, on 27 January, 1844, Katherine Elizabeth, daughter of Mathew Robinson Boulton of Tew Park and Haseley.
