Patsy Byrne is a British actress, born 13 July 1933.


She was born in Ashford, Kent. Patsy is famous for playing round, jolly, often slightly insane old women. Probobly the most famous of these is Nursie in the popular BBC sitcom Blackadder. She also stared as Betty the Tea Lady in the BBC childrens programme Playdays.


She has also starred in Les Misérables (1998), David Copperfield (1999) and Kevin and Perry Go Large (2000).

The Byrnes felt, after this initial run at costs, the need to reduce the size of the house somewhat to be able to incorporate the many detailed (and expensive) features associated with Craftsman style homes (i.e.: wood divided light windows, period lighting, cedar shingle siding, period hardware, etc.).
At the Byrnes' approval, the project was submitted for permit in late 1998.
The Byrnes maintained their Seattle home during the course of construction and the construction details were handled via telephone communication and periodic meetings on the jobsite.
