The Patwin (also Patween, Southern Wintu) are a Wintun people native to the area in Northern California. Wintun (also Wintuan, Wintoon) is the name generally given to a group of related Native American tribes who lived in Northern California, including the Wintu, Nomlaki, Patwin and Southern Patwin tribes. ...
