Pejavara is a village located in Mangalore taluk of Dakshina Kannada ( Formerly known as South Canara or South Kanara ) district of Karnataka state,India.It houses one of matha (monastery ) belonging to ashta matha establishes by Shri Madhwaacharya, the Dwaita philosphor.It also houses branch of Krishnapura matha ,another ashta (eight ) matha founded by Madhvaavharya.It is near to Thokur railway station on Mumbai - Mangalore Konkan railway route.
