Peristeri, older forms Peristerio and Peristerion is a suburban community in Athens area (Attica), Greece. It is located about 5 km NW of the downtown area. The municipality is bordered by the Cephissus/Cephissos River, Athinon Avenue (GR-8), Chaidari in the west and Petroupoli in the northwest. The size is around 10 km². Peristeri includes the northern half of the Athens Industrial Area. Its main streets are Kennedy Street and Thívon Street.
