Petra Pau (born 9 August 1963) is one of two members of the Party of Democratic Socialism in the German parliament, the Bundestag. She was directly elected as the representative of Marzahn-Hellersdorf, a working-class area of east Berlin. She has been a member of the Bundestag since 1998.


She used to be a leader of the East German pioneers and an art teacher.
