Phil Bryant is an American politician from Mississippi. Bryant served as State Auditor since November 1996 when he was appointed to this position by former Governor of Mississippi Kirk Fordice. Bryant was elected to a full term as State Auditor in November 1999 and re-elected in 2003. He is married to the former Deborah Hays of Jackson and they have two children. The Bryants are active members of St. Marks United Methodist Church.


Bryant holds undergraduate degrees from Hinds Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi.
