Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 371 people, 148 households, and 105 families residing in the city. The population density is 292.3/km˛ (757.3/mi˛). There are 166 housing units at an average density of 130.8/km˛ (338.9/mi˛). The racial makeup of the city is 98.38% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.27% from other races, and 1.08% from two or more races. 0.54% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 148 households out of which 31.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.8% are married couples living together, 6.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.4% are non-families. 25.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.51 and the average family size is 2.95.
