Pinto es una localidad y municipio español perteneciente a la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid y situado a unos 20 km.
Antiguamente se pensaba que Pinto se encontraba situado en el centro geográfico de la Península Ibérica, de ahí su nombre, que proviene del latín Punctum, «punto».
Pinto posee un clima mediterráneo continentalizado con tendencia a continental con veranos muy calurosos en ocasiones más de 40º y inviernos cortos y frios, las precipitaciones son escasas 500 mm en invierno ocasionalmente en forma de nieve.
