Plots
Pirates of the Caribbean films are a series of action-adventure/comedies that take place in the Caribbean sometime in the 18th century. The trilogy is inspired by rides developed by Walt Disney, the actual Pirates of the Caribbean attractions at Disney theme parks that are found all around the world. The 3 'Pirates' movies are directed by Gore Verbinski and are produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The four principal actors in the trilogy are Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and Geoffrey Rush. The trilogy will wrap up in 2007, with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. The first film is probably a homage to The Crimson Pirate (1952) due to their many similarities. West Indian redirects here. ...
