The Plains of San Augustin or Plains of San Agustin, are found in the U.S. state of New Mexico in the San Augustin Basin, south of U.S. Highway 60. They are located west of the town of Socorro, and north of the Black Range of mountains. At the western end of the plains lie the Tularosa Mountains. The plains are probably best known as the site of the Very Large Array, a radio astronomy observatory.
