The Plan de Ayala is a liberating plan of the State of Morelos, affilliated with the Insurgent Army which defends the fulfillment of the Plan of San Luis, with the reforms which it has believed proper to add in benefit to the Mexican Fatherland.
The Plan de Ayala, put forth by Emiliano Zapata consisted of a couple main points:
It denounced Madero and his corrupt ways. Instead of bringing change to Mexico, he was consumed by the power of controlling Mexico.
It also set out the platform of Zapata's vision which was to give land back to the people but only in limited amounts. This was probably due to the transitional dissolving of the Hacienda system which would be replaced by a system more communal thereby empowering the community instead of the individual. This would prevent a hierarchy like the feudal one based in the Hacienda system.

Fuera del parque industrial se encuentran las empresas Disogram Mexicana, Smrit de México, y Teneria de Morelos (Temola); la primera se dedica a las actividades de maquila para exportación, la segunda produce retenes y piezas de precisión y la ultima se dedica al curtido de pieles de ganado bovino.
Existen alrededor de 1200 comercios en donde se puede encontrar lo mas elemental como es: comida, ferreterías, loncherías, restaurant- bar y tiendas de abarrotes, vinos y licores, una gran parte de la población complementa su economía a base del trabajo en la agricultura y ganadería.
