Encyclopedia > Planck angular frequency

The Planck angular frequency is the natural unit of angular frequency, denoted by ωP. In physics, Planck units are physical units of measurement originally proposed by Max Planck. ... Angular frequency is a measure of how fast an object is rotating In physics (specifically mechanics and electrical engineering), angular frequency ω (also called angular speed) is a scalar measure of rotation rate. ...

w_p = frac{1}{t_p} = sqrt{frac{c^5}{hbar G}} approx 1.85487 × 1043 s-1

where

c is the speed of light in a vacuum Cherenkov effect in a swimming pool nuclear reactor. ... For other uses, see vacuum cleaner and Vacuum (musical group). ...

hbar is the reduced Planck's constant A commemoration plaque for Max Planck on his discovery of Plancks constant, in front of Humboldt University, Berlin. ...

G is the gravitational constant According to the law of universal gravitation, the attractive force between two bodies is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. ...

Bambooweb: Planck units (644 words)
This is analogous to normalizing Gravitational constant in Newton's law as is the original purpose of Planck in defining Planck Units.
The Planck units are often semi-humorously referred to by physicists as "God's units".
The Planck mass is credible, indeed many living things (such as some fleas) are smaller than it; the issue is that general relativity predicts that smaller fl holes can exist within an event horizon of radius less than the Planck length, while quantum mechanics predicts that the mass would probably be outside the event horizon.
