The meaning of this song is unknown, but some have suggested that it could also be about his love for the electric guitar, and how he only has to plug it in and play, for all his critics to be proven wrong ('crucifies my enemies'). Bizarrely, it could be about genetically engineering puppies to remain young and live forever, as Matt Bellamy has stated jovially in a magazine interview.[citation needed] Left: Rosa Hurricane, a heavy metal-style solid body guitar. ...

Due to the lack of hype and airplay in America when the single was released, a label representative suggested to Muse to re-record the song, but without the falsetto vocal. Muse replied, in a very, rock 'n roll fashion: "Stick it up your arse, you fat ****". Music Video It shows the band playing in a single bedroom. As it progresses, many young women dressed in smart clothes start to arrive, appearing to be human but instead of normal legs, their legs are whirling as if they've come to life. At the very end, it shows Matt Bellamy holding his guitar upside-down and creating feedback. Bellamy has been heard giving different reasons and meanings for the video, one of which is: "The idea came from a conversation we had about genetics and being able to design beings for their own purposes", another is that Muse just wanted to hang about with loads of attractive models all day.
