Described as Homestar Runner's best friend, he is often characterized as a "ladies' man," and is well-known for his use of suave, sophisticated technology, such as Palm Pilots. Pom Pom looks like a big orange-and-yellow ball with a minimalist oval head, and appears to be inflated. Rather than speech, he communicates using an unintelligible series of bubbling sounds, which is the same-reused sample of The Brothers Chaps blowing bubbles into a glass of milk. He seems to get around by bouncing from one "foot" to the other, thus propelling himself along. Though he is for all intents a giant blob (he carries items by letting them sink into his body, including his cell phone, wallet, and handheld computer), he possesses great strength and agility, as well as a black belt, which he has used to defend himself by pummeling Strong Bad and is skilled with a bo staff.
