Independent record label founded by Alan Horne in Glasgow, 1979. The label's first release was "Falling and Laughing" by Orange Juice, which was a commercial and critical success. The label went on to sign such bands as Josef K, Aztec Camera and the The Go-Betweens, before going bust in 1982. Horne resuscitated Postcard in the early '90s, and it continues to release records.
