Prestige format is a term coined by DC Comics but now in wider use to refer to a square-bound comic book with cardstock covers. A prestige format comic book is usually longer than a normal, stapled 32-page comic (sometimes referred to as a pamphlet). Prestige comics typically also have higher quality paper and printing than pamphlet comics. The current DC Comics logo, adopted in May 2005. ... The first comic to be referred to as "prestige format" was Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, published by DC Comics in 1986. The term has been used regularly by DC since that time, and has seen use by other comic publishers as well, but is not used universally. Sometimes squarebound comics are simply said to be in a squarebound format. This is perhaps one of the most interesting and detailed prestige classes to come along in a while.
This is a neat little prestige class that is kind of like a neutral version of The Blackguard.
This prestige class could be compared to a sword version of the Arcane Archer.

The format I used in my own stat blocks is to capitalise SAs and SQs that will be described; SAs and SQs that are not described (eg: sneak attack, uncanny dodge etc...) are left in lower case.
It's annoying to have a sample NPC that isn't legit, because he was built using a draft version of the prestige class and since then the prereqs were changed, some levels were swapped, etc.
