Prince Nikolai of Denmark (Nikolai William Alexander Frederik) (b. 28 August 1999) is the eldest child of Prince Joachim of Denmark and Alexandra Christina, Countess of Frederiksborg. He was born at the Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital). Prince Nikolai was christened in chapel of Fredensborg Palace on 6 November 1999. His godparents are Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, The Earl of Wessex, Peter Steentrup, Nicola Baird, and Camilla Flint.
