Princetown is the most deprived ward in Devon. Since the Home Office changed their rules on where prinson wardens lived much housing became avaiable as the prinson staff moved from the village to live elsewhere. This vacant property was then offered to the disabled, the unemployed and one parent families. With few facilities and little public transport these people have become isolated. Now with the formation of a charity "High Moorland Community Action" this will soon all start to change.
