Pulaski is located southeast of Bloomfield and west of Milton on Highway 2 in Davis County, Iowa. Recent News

The Hawkeye Trader is in the process of getting a new building. Formerly they were on the east side of Second street in an old building. They are now temporarily in the old bank building across Highway 2. They have torn down all the brick buildings on both sides of Second Street. As of now they are constructing their new building.


The old Pulaski School and the house next to it are sold. What the school is going to become is unknown. It is located north of the Sinclair Gas station along Highway 2.


The Annual Corn Show

The Pulaski Corn Show is held in September every year on a Friday and Saturday in the Pulaski Park (located east of the intersection of 2nd street and highway 2). During it the Pulaski Depot is open and so is the Arts and Crafts building. Local organizations serve lunch and dinner each day and there is entertainment every night. On Friday there is a princess contest for 4th and 5th grade girls and on Saturday there is a parade with local organizations and businesses' floats.
