A grandson of Esau, mentioned in Genesis. It does not appear other places than Genesis 36:16. Some believe this is actually a scribal error, and omits the name.
A levite,son of Izhar and hence the cousin of Moses and Aaron. He is remembered for the rebellious action together with Dathan and Abiram against Moses. This story also appears in the Qur'an, where Korah is named Qarun (see Similarities between the Bible and the Qur'an).
