History

Queen City FC was started by former professional and college players looking for a side to support in the Greater Buffalo area, with the only high level football played in the area being in Rochester, with the Rochester Raging Rhinos and the MLS expansion team Toronto FC in Toronto. Queen City FC initially intended to have only a men's side, competing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), but since since the original planning of the club the organisation has added a youth academy, a Field Hockey club, created an afterschool program in conjunction with the Buffalo Public School system called Kick Smarts, and are planning on adding a Lacrosse club to the ranks.
