Rashtreeya Vidyalya College of Engineering (RVCE) is one of oldest premier engineering colleges in India. It is a self financing engineering college located in the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. The campus is spread over an area of 56 acres (230,000 mē) in a sylvan surroundings and is just 13 km from the heart of the Bangalore city on the busy Mysore Road.
The institution is headed by Dr. S. C. Sharma, Professor in Mechanical Engineering. The college is best known for its placement facilities, through which it achieves the highest percentages of students landing in the best technology jobs in India.
