RFP is an acronym for request for proposal, a business term referring to a request for bids on a specific product or service. Also known as an RFQ (request for quotation). An RFP typically asks for more than a price, including: basic corporate information, financial information and documents, and corporate history. The bidder returns a bid or proposal by a set date and time known as a bid opening. The proposals are used to evaluate a bidder's suitability as an institutional partner.
On June 20, MSTV and NAB announced availability of a detailed Request for Quote (RFQ) for this prototype TDCB, soliciting proposals from the consumer electronics industry and others.
The RFQ includes the target parameters and specifications for the TDCB, the testing and quality assurance required in its manufacture, all products to be delivered under the project, and the project management activities required to be performed by the successful bidder during the development of the TDCB.
Proposals will be evaluated based upon the proven ability of the bidder to satisfy the requirements of the RFQ in a cost-effective manner.
The purpose of this RFQ is to identify consulting teams with the capability of creating a master plan for the town, including the commercial core and the adjacent residential and rural areas and a 3 mile buffer of the town's limits (3-mile buffer map attached).
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to provide CCDC with a consultant who will provide legal counsel in all aspects of historic preservation law, including tax and environmental (CEQA) codes at national, state, and local levels.Subconsultant opportunities could includehistorian, documentationservices for historic structures, and tax and financial feasibility consultants.
