The company currently known as "RSA Security" was formerly known as Security Dynamics, who acquired RSA Data Security in 1996 and DynaSoft AB in 1997.


RSA Security organizes an annual RSA Conference.


RSA Security's well-known products include the B-SAFE cryptography libraries and the SecurID authentication token.


RSA stands for the founders' last names: Ron Rivest, Adi Shamir and Len Adleman.
