The main focus is a raft race where the bullies create a high-tech raft (which occasionally stalls out) and sabotage the rafts of the other teams. They eliminate all but Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty's groups. The bullies set the others on detours using signs saying "This way, kid!" and "Short cut" and causing them to go off course. However, all three collide and pile near the end, with Snoopy and Woodstock winning. At the end, the group vows revenge next year, but they are too afraid (even the cat) to do so. Finally, the bus home leaves Charlie Brown behind and he hitches a ride on Snoopy's motorcycle again.
