Rachel Luttrell is an actress who was born in Tanzania, to a French father and Tanzanian mother, and raised in Canada. She played Veronica Beck in the CBC series Street Legal and later appeared in guest roles on ER, Charmed, Forever Knight and other television series. She currently plays Teyla Emmagan, an Athosian warrior on Stargate Atlantis.
