Ragunda is a Municipality in Jämtland County, in north eastern Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 2527.2 km². Of the total population of 6313, 3221 are male, and 3092 are female. The population density of the community is 2 inhabitants per km². The municipal seat is located in Hammarstrand.
Ragunda is known for being the site of the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Building, which is located by the village Utanede. Designed as a Thai royal pavilion, the only one of its kind outside Thailand, it was raised in 1997 in commemoration of King Chulalongkorn's visit there a century earlier.
