Rainy Dolls are a brand of 60cm resin ball-jointed doll (BJDs) made in South Korea by a company called Elfdoll. They are sculpted by a prolific artist who prefers to be known as Rainman. The doll line has included five female dolls: Ryung, Soah, Nabee, Sooah and Lydia, and two males, Wu and Red to date. A Super Dollfie ball-jointed doll. ... The dolls usually are issued in both Standard versions which come without a wig and dressed in a simple swimsuit or as a Special which include a wig and a special outfit. Standard dolls may be ordered with or without their face painted (which is called a faceup by the BJD manufactureres). Owner/buyers have the option of adding different hair colors or styles by changing the wigs. Eyes are also interchangeable, allowing for different colors or sizes to be used. These features allow the owner to easily customize their doll to their liking.


The Ryung doll was the initial release in 2005. Soah, Nabee and Sooah were also released in that year. The two males, Wu and Red, along with Lydia were added to the line in 2006.
