Image:ramgarh.jpg Ramgarh Raj was founded in 1368 A.D. after a stand-off between Baghdeo (later Raja Baghdeo) and the Chota-Nagpur Raja. The Chota-Nagpur Raja had sanctioned two brother's (Baghdeo and Singhdeo) to restore order in 24 rebelious paganas (districts). Upon the receipt of improper payment from the Chota-Nagpur Raja, Raja Baghdeo simply took the 24 paganas (districts) under his control.
