Rangareddi District is a district in Andhra Pradesh state of India. The district has an area of 7,493 sq. km., and a population of 2,551,966 (1991 census). The district encircles the city and district of Hyderabad, and the city of Hyderabad also serves as the administrative center of the district.
All the Colleges are affiliated to Osmania University.The boundaries of Rangareddy district are Nalgonda district, Mahabubnagar district, Karnataka state and Medak district in the East, South, West and North directions respectively.
