Rasmus Lerdorf (born November 22, 1968 in Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland) is a Danish-Canadianprogrammer and the author of the first version of the PHP web programming language. Rasmus also participated in the development of the following versions of PHP led by Andi Gutmans and Zeev Suraski, who later founded Zend Technologies.
