Rebecca de Alba was born on October 26th, 1964, in Zacatecas, Mexico. In a long career she has done many different things, like modelling, working as a TV hostess, announcer, speaker and working intently with several charities.


After graduating secondary school in Mexico, she moved to Colorado to study Journalism. She later won several beauty contests like Miss Dorian Grey, Miss Mexico and Nuestra Belleza. She worked on several shows, and eventually in 1993 got her own show on tv, named Un Nuevo Dia, co-hosting it with Ceasar Costa. For 5 years, she received many important guests in her show and became wellknown not only in Mexico, but also different countries.


Through the years she has done a lot of modelling, and became spokesperson for the make up brand Avon, as well as the first Mexican representative of Bvlgari jewelry. Lending her image to charities as Cambia Un Destino, Telethon, and AIDS funds, she has helped to do her best for those who need it.
