Regice has excellent Special Attack, and almost the highest Special Defense in the game (surpassed only by Shuckle). However, its Attack is low. In this regard, its stats are the exact opposite of Regirock. Like the other Regis, Regice is very slow. It can learn various defensive moves, like Amnesia, which boosts its Special Defense even further, as well as powerful damaging special attacks. Players generally employ Regice as a wall against Pokémon which use Special Attacks. In addition, it is one of the few pure Ice-type Pokémon in the game (Snorunt, Glalie, and Glaceon are the others), and the fact that it is a legendary Pokémon with respectable stats makes it the ideal Ice Pokémon in the eyes of many. Its high Special Defense gives it a good chance of surviving Fire-type attacks, one of its weaknesses. Pokemon Ruby Pokemon of the Day: Regice - IGN FAQs (1472 words)
The third and final member of the legendary Regi trio, Regice doesn't really deserve to be called a "Regi" at all...unless he fancies himself to be of the exceedingly rare (heretofore unheard of, in fact) "Ce" type.
I suppose Regice really is a fitting enough subject today; after an uncharacteristically warm autumn and a rather slow start to winter, my little area of the globe suddenly finds itself gripped by a cold snap the likes of which we seldom see.
Regice is probably one of the single best Pokemon choices for use against the many popular Dragon/Flying types out there thanks to both Ice Beam and his mammoth 499 Special Defense, considering many of them can be found sporting Flamethrower these days.
Science Fair Projects - Regice (341 words)
Regice is a rare ice Pokémon made completely out of ice with no brain.
The ancient people who made Regice sealed it away because it was too powerful.
You can only obtain Regice in Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire when you unlock the secret cave of the Regis.
