Bendigo line Controversy Controversially, the Bendigo line is having its second track inbetween Kyneton and Bendigo stations removed, and replaced with a single track instead. Local residents have complained that it would create more delays than on the current double track. Many believe that the reason for eliminating the double track is to save costs, rather than for a technical reason.
