The Renault 3 was a budget version of the Renault 4 built in 1961 and 1962. The difference between the two cars was that the Renault 3 didn't have a third side window, hubcaps, a front grille or interior door trims. Sales of the Renault 3 were poor because the higher specificfation Renault 4 cost only a small amount more.
