Return To Me, written and directed by Bonnie Hunt, is a romantic comedy whose protagonistic couple portrays the struggle to reconcile life's misfortunes with the undying need for love.
Return To Me --as its title implies-- anticipates the drama concerning the initial loss of a loved one and the consequent yearning to recover him or her.
Return To Me draws most of its strength from the naturalness of its main characters, whose fears inspire some sympathy in the viewer, and from the lively Irish-Italian clan, who transforms its family run Chicago restaurant into a stage for their comedy.
