Founded in 1984, the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement seeks to unite the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist parties of the world into a single political tendency. While some MLM parties, such as the Communist Party of the Philippines, are not participating organizations, the RIM often supports them politically. The RIM believes that the Maoist strategy known as People's war is the most effective strategy for Marxist revolution in the developing world and actively supports parties waging people's war.
